Kingmaker Entertainment is an indie game studio specialises in mobile game development on Unity and Html5. In less than a year, we have grown from 11 members to over 70 and shipped more than 2 dozen games growing our daily active player base by the thousands every month. With such a trajectory, we have every intention to keep the positive momentum going for the good work done by the talented and enthusiastic game lovers in the studio.
We have Kingmakers in Singapore (HQ), Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan (latest addition). We have battle-tested entrepreneurs and leaders leading each functional department from developing games to marketing and operationalising them. We look forward to bolstering our marketing capabilities with this listing.
We are looking for a Game designer to help us continue developing our portfolio, increasing the quality and variety of games for our audience. We expect the game designer to be proficient in spotting trends in the games industry, designing unique and fun experiences for our players and producing game design documents to support the development and art team in their respective area of work to realise the design of the game.

• Highly creative and detail oriented.
• Meticulous with numbers and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design games for a variety of demographics complete with comprehensive design-document.
• Proficient with algorithm driven game design (good at math).
• Can deliver game design experience effectively to the rest of the team through paper prototyping.
• Able to dissect popular games and reproduce its underlying design-intent in other forms.
• Quickly iterate and balance games using analytics and data collected from players.
• Create multi-layer gaming experience for mid-hardcore strategy games.

Requirements 

• Language (Spoken) : English (Mandarin is a bonus)
• Software Proficiency : Unity3D, iOS, Android and various tools and technology
• Skill Sets : Strong Writing, Oral and communication skills
• Design practices : Create design in both written and visual format
• Experience : Shipped casual / strategy mobile games or MMORPGs
• Bonuses : Proficient in Unity3D
